Kingsdale Wines
Kingsdale Wines produces premium cool climate wines from their vineyard and winery, which is, located 7kms from Goulburn. The property has an elevation of 700m and enjoys a fresh mountain climate with mild summers and cool winters. The vineyard is established on deep red soils developed over iron rich sediments and limestone. This combination of climate and soils is ideal for the production of fruit driven wines. Varieties include Shiraz, Merlot, Malbec, Semillon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Group tours welcome.
Athenabaccus Vineyard
Athenabaccus was established in the spring of 1998 with a 1.5-hectare plot of Chardonnay. Two years later the Shiraz block was planted, followed two years later by a Pinot Gris and a Sauvignon Blanc plot. The first harvest was in March 2002, but 2003 saw the first wine produced from the vines - the Shiraz. Athenabaccus is the result of one man's stubborn dream and hard work of the family. Cushendall Wines and Honeysuckle Cottage
Cushendall is a cool climate boutique winery with vineyards in the high ranges of the Southern Tablelands. With a cool climate similar to Burgundy in France, the vineyards are planted to the varieties made famous by that and nearby regions: Pinot Noir, Chenin Blanc, Gamay and Riesling. Honeysuckle Cottage is a traditional country tearoom, with wine tasting and cellar door sales in the historic village of Taralga. Group tours, with lunch and tasting at the cellar door are available by appointment.
Madew Wines
Madew Wines is an award winning boutique winery located at "Westering", Lake George, approximately 30 minutes from Goulburn. The 150-hectare property overlooks the spectacular Lake George and is surrounded by the magnificent, rolling hills of the Cullerin Escarpment.
