Garroorigang Historic Home

This beautiful home is still owned by descendants of Hamilton Hume. Built as an Inn by 1859, it later became a school for the sons of gentleman. Many famous young men attended this school. Some of the rooms are original since 1886, when it became a private home for the family. Although there have been minor alterations over the years, the building still looks much as it did when it was originally built. The antique furniture is original and there are many interesting items of Australiana of the Victorian times, including relics of the convict and bushranging eras.

Riversdale

Built as a coaching inn and residence in the 1840's, Riversdale was purchased in 1875 by Edward Twynam who later became Surveyor General of NSW. Riversdale remained in his family until acquired by the National Trust in 1967. Set in flowering gardens, Riversdale is a wonderful example of Georgian architecture and gracious living, and is furnished as a mid-19th Century colonial cottage

St Saviour's Cathedral

Designed by architect Edmund Blackett, St Saviour's Cathedral, which was built in 1874-1888 is one of the finest examples of Blackett's work, and one of the last great cathedrals of its style ever built. The seat of the Anglican Bishop of Canberra & Goulburn, its interior is one of the most richly decorated and finely finished churches in Australia. The splendid bell-tower, soaring windows and massive stonework are the first impressions one has of St. Saviour's Cathedral.

Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre

The Rail Heritage Centre is operated by the Goulburn Roundhouse Preservation Society and features a heritage rail workshop, which is open for inspection. Other features include the Roundhouse, which was opened in 1918, veteran diesel locomotives and rolling stock under restoration

Old Goulburn Brewery

The Old Goulburn Brewery is Australia's oldest surviving Brewery restored to original functions, reproducing the original ales and stouts made there by traditional processes since 1836. Designed by famous colonial architect Francis Greenway, the Brewery was constructed in 1833 and completed in 1836. It was first operated as a partnership in the names of William Bradley and William Shelley, millers and brewers. The Brewery also serves real ales on tap. Guided tours allow visitors to explore the brew hall and tower, steam mill and maltings, tobacco curing kiln, cooperage, mews of stables and workers cottages
